SHAME ON SUBWAY!

Azodicarbonamide is a chemical used in the production of foamed plastics like yoga mats and rubber-soled shoes, and Subway chose to use it as an ingredient to make it's bread. So, why does the FDA allow a chemical used to make slippers, yoga mats and foamed plastics be allowed for human consumption? This chemical is banned in Europe and Australia. It is bad enough that chemicals infiltrate our daily lives and are prevalent even in homes that are deemed to be clean, at least to the naked eye. Unfortunately, mostly everything we buy from food to clothing to home goods have a chemical component associated with it's production. Check out this video which should make us all question what we ingest.

Also, check out the following information about the chemical. http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2014/02/05/subway-fast-food-chemicals-in-food/5236537/

Furthermore, why did a blogger have to expose this practice before they changed their policy of deliberately  adding this chemical for it's customers to consume. People who have asthma and other respiratory problems should avoid this additive. Let us always be mindful that processed food rarely is nutritious although it may taste good. We, as consumers, must learn to read labels more, If we don't understand or know what the  ingredients are, maybe we should just leave it at the store.

I used to like Subway every now and then, but for now, SHAME ON Subway for using it and the FDA for allowing it!
