TRAVEL TIPS FOR THE DISABLED/DIFFERENTLY ABLED

During the last three years since my health deteriorated, many of my life pleasures were snatched away from me. It's now time to regroup further and take back more - BY WHATEVER MEANS NECESSARY. One of those necessities, for me anyway and this time, is to take a much needed trip this year. I DESERVE THAT and more, as do you if that's what you feel is a need in your own life. I have not yet decided where it is I'll be going, I do have a few ideas and any and all would be acceptable, but somewhere is on my agenda.

As some of you know, just getting out of the house is challenging, planning a trip and all the how, what, where and why's about every little thing comes into play and just the thought can be overwhelming. So, as I encourage myself to begin the process of traveling with stressful health centered problems you may decide to venture to take back at least this aspect of enjoying your own life. I found a helpful site that will get me started on my journey.

Traveling in a wheelchair seems overwhelming, but it is what I must figure out to do to have a safe and enjoyable trip. I just may start off with a few weekend trips to lead up to my vacation, but as I said, I DESERVE IT! No one can even imagine the mental stressful toll long term confinement can do to one's spirit if one's never had a blow like that  handed to them. It is unimaginable to me at times, and I'm living through it every day. Well that's it for now, I think I'll read a little more about exactly how to take back a little sliver of my joy.  BE BLESSED!
